After years of calling this book Becoming, I'm still not used to calling it Strip/Becoming once again. It'll be back out as an ebook on Godless on the 20th of September. The amazon release will follow shortly after. I can't promise a date, I've been having a really shitty year this year with shit that shouldn't be happening happening. The files are uploaded to amazon and ready to go. It has been given a new cover to match that of the new one I gave to 56 Seconds, given that they are sister stories.
56 Seconds is Marcy after she died.
Strip/Becoming is the story of how Marcy died.
I'm working on We Gave the World Synthpop Dreams right now, although not a Marcy story, it is still Era Two and explains a bit more the story behind the Angel of Death in Era Two and why there's more than one.
This is experimental literature. It is the type of book that you need to read to the end to get the story. If you want to try something similar but not literary, I recommend Name Dropping with Hayden (although that is more a revenge story and has a horror comedy thing running through it, whereas Strip/Becoming is very dark, very serious and Marcy does not make it out alive, not like Ashleigh does in Name Dropping with Hayden but her ghost haunts him specifically and ruins his toxic life).
If you want to see if Strip/Becoming is the book for you, here's a selection from the text (weebly didn't keep all of the formatting.)
If you think you might prefer Name Dropping with Hayden, here's a selection from the text.
Or why not buy them both?
