Queenie is getting excited about the cut up project. The Queen of Filth hasn't done anything in terms of cut ups since moving to Liverpool ten years ago. With all the stressful and dramatic people around her causing problems which just attracted more of the same, she obviously attracted some people that were very against cut ups. She did try to explain what they were, but the person in question (who probably listens to bands that use them as they're more common in the music industry) refused to listen (something about how Dani had a bad life and therefore that made her stupid and him super-smart). And life was one never-ending argument with these people.
When Dani Brown used to make a lot of cut ups in the past, they always enhanced her genre fiction and her more literary pieces. So those of you who love her genre fiction or her lit are about to experience things getting much better too.
Queenie plans on being a bit more experimental with these cut ups. They're going to be shorter than stuff she's put together in the past. The Panda Says No! project may get complete one day (she's has problems, mainly financial to clear up before she can get the remaining equipment to finish anyways, although once that's sorted out, the same equipment will be used for a soundscape for 56 Seconds). The cut ups this time will be shorter. She will put them together in a book eventually, but for the most part, you'll be able to purchase unique cards of text and designs on Etsy. If it weren't for the Cost of Living crisis, she'd put all the profits towards getting that equipment, but as it, she'll probably need to put at least some of them towards living expenses and paying off the debt from dealing with a seemingly never-ending circle of drama and stress and people that failed to comprehend that most people do need to work to pay bills and eat, etc.
The last thing she needs to get started will be here soon. Then she has to finish two books and then she's ready to get back to Snow White and start the cut up project.
