experimental writing was my first love. The panda says no! is an extensive found cut-up by chance. I pieced it together by hand, mainly using dice. most of it is stuck on my old mac for now. my little Microsoft laptop nearly died when I formatted "broccoli" so it is going to stay there.
Although I don't just piece together cut-ups for experimental writing (anyone who has read "Broccoli" can tell you that) and I'm working on other experimental pieces that aren't cut-ups at the moment, cut-ups are my favourite. I very nearly did my degree in this subject, instead of handing in "Seth" but a lack of equipment (synthesisers are really expensive when you are really poor) and not wanting to step on anyone's toes prevented it. The completed Panda (not to be confused with Ketamine Addicted Pandas) would have enjoyed better luck being marketed as an industrial album/performance piece. There are some illustrations that I did way back in 2007/2008, if I find the files on a memory stick and Microsoft doesn't protest, I'll upload them. I have more completed segments of it on my old Mac, but here's a little piece from the first section. I plan on re-doing the second section as I hated it back in 2009/2010 when I last worked on it. If anyone wants to donate a Mac to the poor Danielle fund, plus software or help me with an Arts Council Grant, please let me know.
