I have been working on some new drawings (no penis cacti yet, but those will come soon). It does feel nice to start drawing again after a bit of a break while I settled into my new job, worked on a commission and worked on digital art for my book covers. I had stated at some point over on the blog that I won't be focusing on self-publishing from this point forward, which is giving me more time to work on longer books as well as more visual art. It is vital that I get my visual art skills to what they were so I can move my career more in the direction I had planned for in 2008. I'm only going to get so far doing book covers.
If you don't already know, the bulk of my visual art is based on what is found in illuminated medieval manuscripts (I did stumble across the name of these drawings a few weeks ago, but I can't remember it). And of course, I do put prints onto redbubble. I will hopefully have prints you can buy from me in person before I start doing conventions again.
As always, if you see something that you think I might be inspired by (it doesn't have to be from a manuscript, it doesn't even have to be medieval) feel free to tag me on a post of it on my social media.
And now for what I've been working on. I'm not really sure what it is, but obviously there's the vagina flowers in the drawing. And that's the beauty of the illustrations found in medieval art. You don't really know with some of them but boy, do some of these creations have big dicks (although not in this drawing).

And here's the inspiration. I can't read that particular font (the text in medieval manuscripts also has a specific name that I can't remember). I keep telling myself I will learn, but I haven't put in the effort yet.
PS. I sometimes put up a video on tiktok of a work in progress. I have to be careful with tiktok as they are absolute cunts with the community standard violations. I guess regurgitating Andrew Tate or promoting eating disorders is perfectly acceptable but art isn't. I also sometimes put up videos on youtube but the algorithm hates me and has my videos in with a bunch of models which has created some creep related problems (I am looking into social media marketing so I can find my audience and not 22k+ views from creeps, and models don't deserve some of the comments I receive on there, no one does).
